What is the “Role” shown under my name in Dash?

So as to help us understand how everyone in the team can help our clients “at a glance”, we now categorise everyone into skills-based groups.

You can find this shown in the top-right corner of Dash, under your name.

These groups are:

• • Executive Assistant - a VA who excels at “classic” PA/EA support such as diary management, booking travel or coordinating personal tasks for a client. They don’t generally work on other tasks.
  • Marketing Assistant - a VA who mainly focuses on marketing work for clients, such as managing their social media, writing content or coordinating with external agencies. They don’t tend to work on non-marketing tasks.
  • All-Rounder - a VA who does a little of both, spending some of their time working on more admin/PA style tasks, some on tasks which could be seen as “marketing” and perhaps also other work outside of this - coordinating events, running operations or handling customer enquiries, for example.
  • Customer Service Assistant - a VA who focuses almost exclusively on providing customer support to a client’s business. This could be answering service tickets, preparing sales quotes or handling complaints.
  • “Something else” - not seeing this? If we don’t feel a VA in the team “fits” in with one of the above categories, we will set a custom category for them. This might be “Sales Assistant” for someone only dealing exclusively with sales-based activities, for example.
